Stories

Emo Pistols

Seth Morrigan feels like the sun is trying to eat him. In a last ditch effort to save himself, he signs up for the Pen Pal Project.

Surreal Darkness

Sometimes the darkness and I tell stories.

In the Valley of the Sun

This story is completed. πŸ™‚

Lilith Parker is working at the local paper, announcing births and birthdays and deaths. One morning her boss Shannon gives her a more exciting assignment – research the local haunted house and write an article on its history. Nice flavor for Halloween, right?

But then Shannon turns up dead the next day, the local townspeople seem intent on keeping the story of the haunted house a secret, and Lilith is being haunted herself. Will she survive?

Bits and Pieces

These are stand alone one off short stories, inspired by challenges and prompts at the LJ Idol writing community. Some are Sims stories, some are full text, some feature familiar characters, some have new characters.

Note – in pretty much everything I write there will be occasional curse words, non-gory violence, and DEATH!!! Also you may be eaten by grue.

I just wanted to say that I love your story. I started it over the weekend and caught up with the last post today. I have also added the RSS feed to My Yahoo so I can see at a glance when you update.

Hey thanks! I like reading your Sims story, as I enjoy playing the Sims but I never get the time to write an actual story about them. πŸ™‚ I appreciate your compliments and following my blog, I hope you find it interesting. I’m in my second year in Korea and hope to go to Japan next.

Awww, thanks. πŸ™‚ That is the plan once it’s done, although the full text version may end up looking nothing like this since much of the plot is based on things in the game.

I would love to read this a a book! Although your right the text would be kind of difficult to read… Oh and what ever happened to her boyfriend Jake I believe his name was. You defiantly make cute sims…*nervous laughter*

Thanks. πŸ™‚ You’ll definitely see Jason again. Maybe fairly soon. He’s been busy while Lilith has been at the Goth house.

Actually I can’t take credit for Jason – he’s the last sim in the sim bin.

No, it’s nothing very special. It’s a Gateway with an Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor, GeForce 8800 GT video card, and it came with 2 gigs of RAM but I think we added some more.

I learned somewhere around Breakdown that using the unsharp mask option in GIMP helps bring out the colors more and makes things pop a little. I think it’d look a bit rough on bigger pictures but it looks good with the size I use. Does that help any?

πŸ™‚ Don’t tell my boss that I check my stats page at work either, lol.

I had an idea for the next update yesterday but didn’t have time to work on it. I’m going to start on it tonight and hopefully have it done and published Friday night, but we’ll see. It might be Saturday if we go out on Friday.

I had computer problems yesterday, so now it’s definitely looking like Saturday afternoon. The next bit is going to require a good bit of staging and I don’t think I can do it all in a couple of hours.

Thank you. πŸ™‚ I’ve written very short stories for fun, but no – certainly not anything serious or publishable. Once Valley is done I’m going to try, though.

  8. I like the pictures, I will definitely start from the first post but as of now I am contented looking and trying to get a grip of the plot through the images…….I’m in office right now…

Nice work..I don’t really read blogs while at work but yours tempted me and now I am.
